Every Burger Worth Making.
How we work

Our standards

The golden rule

We never invent a burger recipe. Every burger comes from an established chef, a respected publication, a reputable cookbook or a documented regional tradition. When a source is incomplete, we say so instead of filling the gaps.

Recipe status

Source verifiedWe read the original recipe and checked its name, author, ingredients and quantities against it. These burgers carry the green stamp.
ResearchingWe’ve found a credible source but haven’t confirmed the full recipe yet, usually because it’s only in a book or a video. These burgers have no stamp.

We haven’t cooked these recipes ourselves yet. When we do, we’ll say so on the recipe.

Images

The burger images are AI-generated illustrations, each made from a description of that exact burger and labelled as AI on its page. They show what the burger looks like, not a dish we cooked. Each chef portrait is credited on that chef’s page and on the Credits page. Guide illustrations are drawn for this site.

Videos

  1. Videos stay on YouTube and are credited to their creators.
  2. A video must show the same recognized burger style. A different take is labelled as a variation.
  3. An editor watches each video before it’s marked verified. Metadata alone isn’t enough.

Independence

Chefs and publications are credited as sources. None of them endorses this site, and we have no commercial partnership with any of them.
